Piano Tuning, Repair & Sales

Training & Education

I graduated from the North Bennett Street School, Boston in 1988 with a certificate in Piano Technology. The North Bennett Street School is one of the premier schools of piano technology in the country. My tuning career began in southeastern Massachusetts where over a period of 15 years I built a client base of about 800 clients. In addition to my private clients and churches, I maintained all the pianos for the Music Department at the University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth and did all their concert tunings. I also serviced pianos and did concert tunings for many school systems both private and public. I was responsible for tunings for the Buzzards Bay Music Festival held a t Tabor Academy in Marion, Ma each year.

I moved to Palm Beach Gardens, FL in September of 2003 and began working with MG Piano, then of Lake Park, as their head tuner. At the same time I began building my private client base which has grown to over 400 clients. I also have tuned for the following Clubs: Admiral’s Cove, Frenchman’s Creek, Mirasol, PGA National, and The Ritz Carlton in Jupiter. Many of my clients currently reside in these clubs.

I am a certified technician for the PianoDisc player systems and was privileged to receive training at Yamaha’s Little Red Schoolhouse for their Disklavier system. I have also worked with the QRS Pianomation system, the Baldwin and the old Pianocorder systems.

Prior to piano tuning, I graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Music degree in education and spent 17 years teaching at the junior high and high school levels. I received my Master of Music degree in conducting from the University of Lowell in MA.
